Kinney Drugs Inc., a leading healthcare organization in New York and Vermont announced today that they have entered into a purchase agreement with Meyer Drug, Inc. for the Meyer Pharmacy located at 10 Plattsburgh Plaza in Plattsburgh, N.Y. Meyer Pharmacy will transfer its prescription files to Kinney Drug's new location on Cornelia Street after the close of business on Saturday, June 13th.

All customer prescriptions will automatically be transferred to Kinney Drugs newly located at 288 Cornelia Street. Meyer Drug customers will be happy to find their pharmacist, John Meyer, R.Ph, behind the Kinney pharmacy counter. In conjunction with the prescription transfer, Kinney Drugs also offers free prescription delivery at all of its locations. Customers can have their prescriptions delivered to their home with no delivery charge. Additional products from the store can be delivered along with the prescription, excluding alcohol and tobacco products.

John has owned and operated Meyer Pharmacy for over 25 years. With his decision to sell Mr. Meyer wanted to ensure that the new management share his commitment to his patients and customers. "Kinney Drugs was a natural fit. The values of our two companies are very much aligned. Kinney Drugs will continue to provide the same level of care that the Plattsburgh area has become accustomed to from Meyer Drug," said Mr. Meyer.
