NY Vaccine News Update:

A few news sources have inaccurately reported that beginning February 15th, NY pharmacies could vaccinate those with certain health conditions regardless of age. THESE REPORTS ARE INACCURATE.  The most recent New York State Department of Health Provider Guidance specifies that "Retail pharmacies...should only vaccinate persons aged 65 years or older." Since the beginning of the COVID vaccination program, we have been in close contact with both the Governor's office and the Department of Health (in both NY & VT) and follow their guidance. Please refer to this Guidance should questions arise. Full Guidance can be found at: Phased Distribution of the Vaccine | COVID-19 Vaccine (ny.gov)We will continue to provide relevant updates as needed.

Currently, pharmacies are only allowed to vaccinate NY residents age 65+ and Vermont residents age 65+ BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.  New appointments will open as Kinney Drugs confirms allocations(s) of COVID-19 vaccines. We ask that you please do NOT call your local store, as they are focused on serving patients and will have no additional information. Instead, please check this site often, and sign up for our emails and text alerts to be the first to know when appointments open up in your area.
